Business Intelligence & Planning Manager (Re-Advertised)
The positions report to the Senior Manager-Channel Development & Planning
Main Purpose of the Job
Lead the Business Planning from a Sales & Distribution perspective and monitor company performance against targets and
strategies
Prime responsibilities of the positions:
Monitors and analyzes Telecoms trends, opportunities for future growth and channels distribution
Identifies and monitors competitors' performance and activities to anticipate competitor initiatives
Identifies and monitors competitors' performance and activities to anticipate competitor initiatives
Responsible for tracking the identified S&D related business risks and ensuring quick and appropriate resolution
Responsible for identifying and establishing models to monitor and understand the effect of Competitor actions on churn
in order to build tactical corrective actions.
Provides supports for the optimization of the Departments value propositions through developing segmented
propositions targeting specific customers, developing competitive pricing strategies and developing competitive
promotions and sound business cases
Provides supports for financial analysis and modeling for all promotions and price reductions to aid decision making.
Provides supports for COS analysis and modeling for all Dealer incentives, discounts and Bonus matrices to aid decision
making
Business Intelligence use and application for distribution optimization
At least 5 years experience in Business analysis, financial modeling and product evaluation
Telecommunications industry
Knowledge and ability to apprehend the interrelationships of presented facts in such a way as to guide action towards a
desired goal
Good relationship building and management
Unquestionable professional and ethical standards and an ability to represent the company in highly confidential and
sensitive matters;
Customer centricity Flexible and adaptable changing opinions / behavior in the light of changing situations
Strong CAN DO attitude combined with an ability to use minimum resources to get maximum outputs
