3 Hazard Identification
Major Hazard Effect
Hazard Warnings for Health: Harmful if swallowed or inhaled or absorbed through the skin.
Irritation of skin, eyes and respiratory tract. Affects (central)
nervous system.
71
MSDS 2015/01/01
Inhalation: Move to fresh air. Rest, half-upright position, loosen clothing. Practice artificial respiration
in case of difficulty in breathing. Get immediate medical attention.
Skin Contact: Wash off immediately with plenty of soap and water. Take all Contaminated clothing off
immediately. Seek medical advice.
Eye Contact: Rinse immediately with plenty off water. Always Seek medical advice.
Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting because of risk of aspiration. Rinse mouth with water. Seek medical
advice. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.
Major Disease and Harm Effect: Affects central nervous system if under prolong and high concentration
on exposure. Damage to the liver and kidneys may occur.
First-Aid Personal Protection: Wear Protective gloves to prevent contact with the contaminated materials.
Prompt to Doctor: In small ingestions the gastrointestinal decontamination is not recommended. With
larger ingestions there is potential for systemic toxicity from gastrointestinal
absorption and decontamination is suggested.
5 Fire Fighting Measure
72
MSDS 2015/01/01
Special Exposure Hazards: Carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide and toxic fumes may be generated
under high temperature. Fire exposed containers may explode. Above flash
point, vapor-air mixtures are explosive within flammable limits
Special Extinguishing Procedure: Keep up-wind to avoid fumes. Water spray may be used to keep fire
exposed containers cool. Keep run-off water out of sewers and water
sources. Dike for water control. Move container from fire if it can be
done without risk. If risk of water pollution occurs, notify appropriate
authorities.
Special Protection Equipment: In the event of a fire, wear full protective clothing and self-contained
breathing apparatus with full facepiece operated in the pressure demand
or other positive pressure mode.
6 Accidental Release Measures
1.
2.
Personal Protection: 1. Keep unnecessary and unprotected personnel from entering.
2. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment. Do not breathe vapors / dust.
1.
2.
3.
4.
Environmental Protection: 1. Ventilate area of leak or spill.
2. Keep away from sources of ignition - no smoking.
3. Prevent product from entering drains. Do not contaminate surface
water. Avoid subsoil penetration.
4. Report to the authorities if large leakage occurred.
Methods for Cleaning Up: Contain and recover liquid when possible. Use non-sparking tools and
equipment. Collect liquid in an appropriate container or absorb with an inert

Handling: 1. Do not pressurize, cut, weld, braze, solder, drill, grind or expose such containers to heat,
sparks, flame, static electricity or other sources of ignition, they may explode and cause
injury or death. Containers of this material may be hazardous when empty since they retain
product residues (vapors, liquid).
2. Observe all warnings and precautions listed for the product.
3. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment. Avoid spilling, skin and eye contact. Do not
use contact lenses.
1.
2.
3.
4.
Storage: 1. Protect against physical damage. Store in a cool, dry well-ventilated location.
2. Away from any area where the fire hazard may be acute.
3. Containers should be bonded and grounded for transfers to avoid static sparks.
4. Storage and use areas should be No Smoking areas. Use non-sparking type tools and
equipment, including explosion proof ventilation.
Engineering Control: A system of local and/or general exhaust is recommended. Local exhaust ventilation
is generally preferred because it can control the emissions of the contaminant at its
source, preventing dispersion of it into the general work area.

Hygiene Procedures: Wash at the end of each work shift and before eating, smoking. Promptly remove
any clothing that becomes contaminated. Contaminated clothing to be placed in
closed container until disposal or decontamination. Warn cleaning personnel of
chemical's hazardous properties.

Conditions to Avoid: Flame, static electricity, heat, ignition sources and incompatibles.
()
Incompatibility: Strong oxidizing agents (peroxides, nitrate). May cause spontaneous ignition and violent
reaction. May attack some plastics and rubber.
Hazardous Decomposition Products: Thermal decomposition may release acid fumes, smoke and carbon
monoxide.
11 Toxicological Information
Acute Toxicity
Inhalation: Causes irritation to the respiratory tract. Symptoms may include coughing, shortness of breath.
High concentrations have a narcotic effect. Irritation effects normally prevent exposures high
enough to cause systemic effects.
,
Skin Contact: Causes irritation to skin. Symptoms include redness, itching, and pain. May be absorbed
through the skin with possible systemic effects.
Eye Contact: Vapors may cause irritation. Contact may cause corneal injury.
Ingestion: May produce abdominal pain, nausea. Aspiration into lungs can produce severe lung damage

MSDS 2015/01/01
Disposal Information: Seal the container tightly to prevent leak or spill. In case of incineration, follow
the disposal standard of industrial waste. Consign the disposal to the specialist of
industrial waste after clarifying that the goods are flammable waste oil.
