Dear Punit Pandeyji,

For IAS & IPS, Administration skill is required. In my experience, strong Mars connected to Xth Bhavam,
make one to become a good IAS & IPS Officer. Mars is also significator for army/military nature, coupled
with boldness, disciplined and able administrator.Thus Mars pays important role.

According to me , for any govt job high position , sun should be powerfull in chart,more I can say, for IAS sun,
& for IPS Sun with mars(police, crime) & saturn(impresment,justice, service).For investigation purpose
(CID,CBI)rahu also plays the role.

A research article on IAS Profession was made and published in the

KPAF, Hyderabad, KP Astrology International Magazine during july.Dec
2008, the file in pdf format uploaded in the files section. Senior KP
Members may go thru the same and offer their comments. Nearly 40
charts were analysed and it was found Rahu and Venus have played a
major role for IAS Profession, relating to IPS it is next to IAS
selection in the examinations.

This also explains how I am in the IAS. I had never imagined that ven could play such a crucial role in IAS. I
think my children, with ven ra mer jup influencing the 10th cusp. may get into the IAS/IFS.
