HIS CONTACT SHEET IS ABOUT

bringing junior doctors,
teachers, and everyone
fighting against austerity, into
contact with their local trade
union movement.
We need to build united
solidarity to defeat the Tories
attacks on our NHS, education
and services.
Junior doctors have been
in the frontline of the fight
against austerity. The BMA is
right to escalate, with a 48
hour strike on 6 & 7 April,
emergency cover only, followed
by a full walkout on 26 & 27
April.
This is everyones fight, and
not only because its about
defending our NHS.
When Jeremy Hunt decided
he would impose the hated
contract with a deadline of
1 August, he threw down the

gauntlet to the whole trade

union movement.
If Hunt gets away with
imposing the contract on
doctors, the Tories will attempt
to do the same elsewhere.
Teachers are gearing up to
defend education from the
Tories plan to force all schools
into academies.
We need to link the fights to
defend the NHS & education,
now in the forefront of the
battle against austerity, and
turn support for those fighting
back into active solidarity so
that they win.
Its down to trade unionists
everywhere to build support
for the junior doctorss strikes,
and get behind any action
teachers decide to take.
We need to put pressure
on the TUC to call a national
demonstration in support.
