Good morning, everyone!

When I was a kid I used to wonder the magnificence of the environment and the
human life processes. I wondered who created the sun, water, wind, how do we
breath, the question of who, why, where, when and how was always in my mind...
As I grew older into adolescent, along my way, as I started to gain knowledge and
all these questions were answered one after another where I was impressed of the
existence of the nature.
Now, Im wondering, What does it mean to be a human?
human? Are we humans?

How is it to be like a

Human is the superior species who is able to procure knowledge, rationalize,

deliberate, understand, coach and mostly importantly, capable to value LOVE. Only
human filled with humanitarian values is called as human. In the last decade, we
could see many catastrophic events happening around the globe, such as terrorism
attacks, murders, human trafficking and, of course, war which has claimed many
innocent lives. As generation Y and Z we are responsible to fix this. This clearly
indicates the depletion of humanitarian values among us. And, actually were
reversing back the Darwins theory. Looking around us these days, there is still an
unanswered million dollar question. Are we behaving like a human?
What is humanitarian values? Love, peace, truth, righteousness and non-violence.
These are the valus that humanize a Homo sapiens. We see human all over the
place, but we rarely see humanity in them. It starts from a child-parent relation till
an individual become a contributor to the society and to the environment. As a
human, we can learn and re-learn from our mistakes which leads to evolution and
revolution of mankind. The learnt and unlearnt are all blessed with the natural
ability to rationalize whatever they undertake to do. Are we using this ability? Are
we able to tap the hidden ability within us?
Reverse the coin, even though at times were facing situations which are contrary to
humanism, there is still some great souls are ready to sow the seeds of human
values in the society. Mahatma Gandhi once said that we should not lose faith in
humanity because humanity is like an ocean if a few drops of ocean are dirty the
ocean does not become dirty.
So, as a human, lets help each other to change and to protect the environment and
foster love and peace among each others live. A love filled society will progress
better, happier society performs better and better which leads to profitable growth
of society and a give a positive impact to the growth of the country too.
Coming back to the rhetorical question, What does it mean to be a Human? Being a
human is not an aspect of extrinsic, it should really come from intrinsic of an

individual. As said by the Great Saint Ramana Maharishi, one should take deep dive
into oneself to ask Who am I? to find the real reason of being a human. So, ask
yourself, Who am I? Are you a human..? Thank you!
