LETTER OF INTRODUCTION

CONTACTS:

President – Roy (Hemmy) Betts

Vice President – Craig (DJ) Deacon
Secretary – John (Mucka) Williams

Hello and Thank you for your interest in our Club, My Name is DJ and I am a Current member
of the Patriots Australia Adelaide Chapter.

The Patriots Motorcycle Club has been active since 1992.

The reason the Club was formed, was to provide a Club to support serving and ex serving
members of The Defence Forces. We have Chapters in most states of Australia. Our Club is a
Motorcycle enthusiasts Club, NOT an Outlaw Club. We do not wear back patches, but we do
have a logo that we proudly wear on the left breast of our vest. Our ‘Breast Patch' is to denote
our dedication to the three services of those who have served & are still serving, fighting for
our country. Our ‘Badge' shows the Tri Service logo, overlayed with a skull, this is for the
members who have paid the ultimate sacrifice for our country. The colours denote; Red for the
Blood spilt by members defending our country and its Flag on foreign soils. The Black Beret, a
common colour for each service and the colour of mourning for those members who have died.
White for the peace members have fought for, and won.

The Club may take part in many of the motorcycle rallies Nationwide. We also organise our
own annual charity events.

The proceeds of these events go to various charitable organizations. The Club is very much a
family orientated club, and as such, we have many events which include the whole family, such
as weekend away, and social gatherings, BBQ's etc.

The Adelaide Chapter consists of a mixture of people ranging from current serving and ex
serving members of the Defence forces, and Associate members. We do not discriminate race,
gender, and religion, but we do insist that the motorcycle will be of 250cc or greater, no trail
bikes/scooters will be accepted.
