About Azerbaijan :
The Burj Khalifa, which has held the title of world's tallest building with a height
of 2,717 ft (828 m) since its completion in 2010, may have its crown stolen by a
new building proposed for an artificial archipelago under construction on the
shores of the Caspian Sea southwest of the Azerbaijan capital, Bakou. The
proposed Azerbaijan Tower would reach 3,445 ft (1,050 m) into the sky, making it
even taller than Saudi Arabia's proposed Kingdom Tower by 164 ft (50 m). The
Azerbaijan Tower would boast 189 floors and be built by Avesta Consern as part
of the Khazar Islands development. The tower would form the centerpiece of the
development, which will consist of 41 artificial islands spread over an area of
2,000 hectares (2,942 acres). The tower alone is expected to cost US$2 billion,
while the city, which is designed to house one million residents and will contain
everything a modern city needs - plus a Formula One racetrack - is estimated to
cost $100 billion.
Construction Equipment Schedule definition:
It can be defined as a schedule of construction equipment comprising when
particular construction equipment is supposed to be used and for how much
duration
Construction Equipment Schedule for Azerbaijan Tower:
The Azerbaijan Tower is stated to be start by 2015 and finish by 2019. It means the
construction going to take 4 years i.e. 48 months. All the construction equipment
are not going to need at same time , there is particular time period and duration for
particular equipment based on its need and productivity e.g. the earthwork
equipment will be only needful only in initial phase of the project. So we have
prepared the equipment schedule based on following equipment scheduling factors
as well on the assumption
(1) The quantities involved, basically volume or weight;
(2) The haul distances;
(3) The grades for all segments of the hauls;
(4) The work hazards;
(5) The various contractual and legal constraints. Typical constraints are
1. Contract requirements described in the drawings and technical specifications,
including time duration or requirements as to completion dates.
2. Legal requirements (OSHA, licensing, environmental control) that must be
satisfied.
2

3. Physical and/or environmental limits of the job, which may necessitate offsite
fabrication and material storage, or sequencing of construction
operations (traffic control).
4. Climatic conditions that limit when certain activities can be performed,
such as paving or stabilization operations, or that limit earthwork operations
because of moisture content and the inability to dry the material.
BACKHOE-LOADERS
The success of the backhoe-loader comes from its versatility. this is not a highproduction machine for anyone task, but it provides flexibility to accomplish a
variety of work tasks. It is three construction machines combined into one unit-a
tractor, a loader, and a hoe. Because of its four-wheel-drive tractor capability, the
backhoe-loader can work in unstable ground Conditions. It is an excellent
excavator for digging loosely packed moist clay Or sandy clay. It is not really
suitable for continuous high-impact diggings such as With hard clay or caliche.
DRAGLINE
A dragline excavator is especially useful when there is need for extended reach in
excavating or when material must be excavated from underwater. The greatest
advantage of a dragline over other machines is its long reach for digging and
dumping. The dragline is designed to excavate below the level of the machine.
The dragline is a versatile machine capable of a wide range of operation.
ROLLER
With time, material will settle or compact itself naturally, but the objective of
compaction is to achieve the required density quickly. The earliest recorded use of
compaction can be found in the Roman Empire records of their road construction
projects. The Romans realized that compaction would improve the engineering
properties of soils; therefore, they used large cylindrical stone rollers to achieve
mechanical densification of their road base.

DUMPER
A dumper is a vehicle designed for carrying bulk material, often on building sites.
Dumpers are distinguished from dump trucks by configuration: a dumper is usually

an open 4-wheeled vehicle with the load skip in front of the driver, while a dump
truck has its cab in front of the load. The skip can tip to dump the load; this is
where the name "dumper" comes from. They are normally diesel powered. A
towing eye is fitted for secondary use as a site tractor. Dumpers with rubber
tracks are used in special circumstances and are popular in some countries.

RMC BATCHING PLANT
As the concreting work was in large quantity the RMC set up near the construction
site was necessary so that the supply of concrete would be continuous
CONCRETE PUMP
As it was high rise structure , the pumping of concrete was necessary to do
concreting work . concrete pump are supposed to be used to carry our concreting
work as it would save the time substantially
BOOM PlACER
The boom placer to be used for concreting work so that manual efforts are
minimized as well desirable quality is achieved within short period of time
VIBRATORY PUMP
They are to be used so that the concrete is well spread along the components of
structure and minimizing the chances of honeycombing or segregation

MOVABLE PLASTERING AND PAINTING WORK

Use of this modern equipment will certainly decrease the involvement if labour.
Use of this equipment will help in achieving greater quality
TOWER CRANE
Tower cranes provide high lifting height and good working radius, while taking up
a very limited area. These advantages are achieved at the expense of low lifting
capacity and limited mobility, as compared to mobile cranes
PASSANGER LIFT
The lift is necessary to transport the labors from ground floor to subsequent upper
floors
GENERATOR SET
It is required in case of power cut so that the work flow is uninterrupted
