WORK EXPERIENCE
Innscor Africa- T/A Golden Stairs Spar 2009-2013 Joined the retail branch when it opened in December
2009, and was instrumental helping to break even, achieve growth in sales, market share and
profitability. I held several positions over a period of four years. Positions include Costing Clerk, Front
End Manager and finally Operations Manager. Responsibilities held over the period include
Managing day to day operations of the organization, including direct supervision of all staff.
Setting budgets and ensuring the organization operated within budgetary lines
Setting monthly targets for each department, and measuring performance
Stock procurement, control and management
Sales Management and Gross Profit Management
Marketing management including promotional activities
Managing production of service departments i.e. Deli, Bakery, F&V and Butchery
Preparing weekly and monthly departmental sales and trading accounts
Attending and presenting monthly feedback information to the board
July 2006-June 2007- Intern -circulated through all departments of the organization including HR,
Accounting, Operations, but spent most time in the marketing department. Main responsibilities held
include
Data collection and analysis, in marketing research
Analysis of competitor strength, weakness, and pricing strategies
Formulating and implementation of promotional activities
Compilation sales and reporting of monthly sales
PERSONAL Business
Goodies Enterprise 2010-2014- A four men partnership that specialized in sourcing fruits,
vegetables and other agricultural products from farmers and supplying them to large retail
outlets such as Pick and Pay, OK and Spar
OTHER ACTIVITIES
Involved in Rebuild Sakubva since 2012 as a Fundraiser-A web based group to raise funds to go
towards the improvement of the socio-economic life of the people of Sakubva (my home town).
So far, funds have gone towards schools development, community library refurbishment,
construction of public sanitary facilities and funding local informal entrepreneurs.
Tutor 2004-2008-Tutored Advanced Level and 1St year University Students. I specialized in
tutoring Mathematics, Statistics and Business Management

IT- proficient in basic computer skills, including Ms excel, word, power-point, internet, email
