The Jack Reacher series - in order

The list author says: "While Lee Child's "Jack Reacher" books can be enjoyed as
stand-alone novels, here is the correct chronological sequence. Note that I have put
The Enemy first as it is a prequel that predates the other books. However if you
want to read them in the order that they were published, it comes after Persuader
and before One Shot."
1. The Enemy (Jack Reacher, No. 8) by Lee Child
The list author says:
"While actually the 8th book to be published, this is the only one that takes
place while Jack is working in the army for the Military Police. He is
investigating the death of a two star general in a seedy motel room. His
mother and brother also makes appearances in this book."

2. Killing Floor (Jack Reacher, No. 1) by Lee Child

The list author says:
"Jack is on the road when the local police pick him up in conjunction with a
murder - which turns out to be the death of his brother. This leads him into
investigating a counterfeiting ring."

The list author says:
"Jack is inadvertently kidnapped along with Holly, an FBI agent."

He goes looking for the person who hired the detective and ends up taking on
"Hook" Hobie."

when Reacher was in the army.
A sniper has killed 6 people in what seems to be a clearcut case. His only
words to the police are to ask them to find Jack Reacher for him."

10. The Hard Way (Jack Reacher Novels) by Lee Child

The list author says:
"Jack is hired to investigate the kidnap of a crook's wife and daughter. The
search will take him to England."

11. Bad Luck and Trouble (Jack Reacher, No. 11) by Lee
Child

"Together with his colleagues from the Military Police, Jack is investigating the
disappearance of some of their teammates. This book is unusual in that
Reacher is not working alone."

The list author says:
"Reacher is traveling on his own again. After being banned from the town of
Despair, Colorado, he decides to find out what the residents are so desperate
to keep hidden. Generally regarded to be the weakest book in the series."

"Gone Tomorrow kicks off with Reacher spotting what he believes to be a
suicide bomber on the New York subway. He intervenes, with deadly
