With offices in Limerick and in San Jos, NVMdurance are set to become Limericks next big
technology success story. They recently completed a 2.23m Series A funding round.
'NVMdurance' refers to Non Volatile Memory endurance, more specifically NAND Flash memory.
They have developed a complex solution which significantly prolongs battery life. Who of us
havent had problems with battery life on our smartphone and other devices? Currently
NVMdurance are the only independent provider of this technology globally.
Flash is replacing hard disks, but the problem is that it wears out. Our software retunes

This overnight sensation' has taken more than thirteen years of academic research
and industrial expertise to have mastered this very specialised field. The two
founders who pioneered this groundbreaking work were Joseph Sullivan, Lecturer at
Limerick Institute of Technology and formerly of Analog Devices and Conor
Ryan, Associate Professor at the University of Limerick.
