Summary
Certified in several SAP Basis related module and in ITIL foundation, complementing the
ten years of experience working with various SAP products mostly running on Oracle as
a database and UNIX or Windows as a platform with four full project lifecycle and seven
years of production support. Exposed in various industries such as Oil and Gas, FMCG
and IT consulting. Currently seeking for lead or senior position in SAP Basis field.

Key Projects Handled:
Project #1: Performed SSO setup, GRC plugin and Cybersafe Trustbroker
installation for 52 SAP systems including Business Objects as part of Security
Roadmap project. In the same scope, performed upgrade on SAP Access
Control (GRC) from 10.0 with SAP Netweaver 7.02 to 10.1 with SAP Netweaver
7.40 using SUM tool on Solaris 10 with Oracle database.
Project #2: Performed proof of concept for nZDM (near zero downtime
maintenance) in SUM tool for ERP and BW system. Made comprehensive
document of the procedure and tracked all the error, requirements and duration
throughout the process. Also made comparison between the two systems to see
if nZDM provide much improvement.
Provided deep root cause analysis for P1/P2 incident and produced learning and
action item to prevent similar occurrence in the future.
Managed to reduce P1/P2 by 60% in year 2014 after reviewed and approved
SAP technical RFCs by identified any potential risk and ensure the readiness of
the implementation, post implementation and backout plan
Involved in daily incident/problem management call and provided expertise
consultation and suggestion to resolve an incident/problem ticket.
Actively involved in ongoing SAP technical improvement plan to ensure the SAP
systems is in good condition, sustainable and achieve target of silent running by
compiled specific SAP technical issue or defect and produce action plan for
rectifying it.
Actively involved in BP SAP Basis forum to create, modify and enhance the SAP
Basis standard operating environment.
Conducted knowledge sharing session monthly for new joiner on the BP system
landscape covering the design, SID naming convention and the processes
involved.
Project #1: Setup SAP Data visualization small landscape for business user in
Vietnam by installing and integrating SAP Lumira, Business Objects and SAP
BW. The project required new install of SAP Lumira and Business Object and
created a connection to SAP BW as the backend. All running on Oracle and
Windows platform.
Responsible for the operational smoothness of the SAP systems for the Asia
Pacific region.
Frequently communicate and coordinate with the business users on schedule
and changes activity for the SAP landscape.
Mentored and provided guidance to team members in their day to day activity.
Responsible for ensuring that the internally or externally sourced SAP Basis
services are aligned with business needs and are delivered in accordance with
customer Service Level Agreements to T-Systems Standards and in line with
industry best practice.
Coordinated the activities within the team to ensure a high level of technical and
business issue resolution is being achieved.
Assigned as the third level technical support for the SAP operation team.
Developed around 10 UNIX shell script for SAP systems in managing backup of
files, housekeeping, archiving and transporting interface files to external system.
Performed deep root cause analysis with proper documentation in place for high
priority incident.
Involved in automation project implementation initiated by Architecture team for
the purpose of reducing amount of manual work by the SAP Basis engineers.
Assigned as the Adaptive Computing and Oracle Database SME in the team.
Involved extensively on the investigation of java stack performance issue on SAP
BW production system using IBM HeapDump Analyzer and Wily Introscope.
Designed the layout of SAP, Oracle and Interface mountpoints on NAS
filesystems powered by NetApp in the landscape to accommodate database
refreshes, balance the I/O utilization and shared storage.
Upgraded ECC6.0 to EHP4 and SAP Netweaver 7 to EHP1 for 7 systems.
Fine tune system performances to meet target average system response time
based on agreed SLA using SAP tcodes and Oracle AWR report.
Project #1: Consolidation and integration of all the SAP standalone system from
every TNB Distribution office into one SAP system in TNBs main data centre.
Performed installation of SAP ECC 6.0, BI 7.0, ITS for online services and BMC
Control-M for mass job scheduling in SAP. All the systems are running on AIX 5.3
and Oracle 10.
