Town Board Moments
1. Citizen Concerns a.
Resident suggested
installing a wireless
intercom system outside
of the elevator door,
Posting of signs directing
handicapped individuals
to use the elevator, and
location of entrance. The
suggestions will be taken
into consideration for
further discussion.
2. A motion was made
and carried to contact
Kelly Bros. and have
them replace and install
the new hardware and
weather stripping on the
front door entrances.
3. Supervisor Shaw and
Hwy. Supt. Dindl
presented information on
packer trucks. Discussion
followed with questions
about prices, size of
trucks and the condition
of the trucks. It was
suggested that the trucks
in Harpersville should be
looked at before any
purchasing is done.
Mr.Dindl suggested that
they send their mechanic
down to inspect the trucks
first. The board was in
agreement with that.

2. Sewer Report
Village received
notification from the
NYS DEC that the
consent order is closed.
3. Spring cleanup May
9th -12th. The items to
be picked up are
bagged leaves, brush
with butt end facing
street, lumber no longer
than 4 in length, and
metal.
4. A public hearing on
May 11th at 6:45 pm for
the purpose of hearing
comments regarding the
proposed sewer debt
rate, with the regular
meeting to immediately
follow.
5. Supt. Pitts is retiring
but has agreed to stay
on as our chief operator
at the WWTP for a sum
of $240/month. The
following appointments
were made: David Dean
DPW Superintendent
and Darren Paquette as
a full-time permanent
laborer.
