Mainframe Operator / Administrator
Monitored the mainframe for job abends, or system errors. Worked with Operations
Analyst in the resolution of production job abends. Assisted System programmer
during IPL’s. Performed bouncing of onlines (CICS regions) in the event of mainframe
lock-up. Responsible for coordinating projects to be completed within established
timelines, resolution of user problems and all required technical support. Managed
tape back-up library.
• Assisted on-site and field personnel with resolving new member entry and data
updating problems, and worked with colleagues to establish new processes for batch
production.
• Participated in code migration and release to production, code, test analyze and
migrate new reports into production, and track and report weekly discrepancies.
