General Election Thursday 6th May 2010:
Manifesto helping you decide?
Posted on May 5, 2010 by rayduff
THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA has
stated that the General Election at
a national level will be a close run
affair. And it is far from clear
whether any single party will win
a majority of the 650 seats up for
grabs on election day Thursday
6th May 2010.
In Beverley and Holderness then
voters have to make up their
minds based on what they know
of the candidates and the party policies they represent.
During the last few weeks the Hedon Blog has attempted to report on the
campaign and hopefully provided some useful background information.
The entries listed at the Election 2010 is a record of the campaign from this small
corner of the World. The views of the Candidates themselves have been
articulated in the post Who to vote for.
This post fills the gap. It contains links to the party manifestos and will be useful
for those who want to find out more about each party’s policies (with the exception
of Ron Hughes the Independent).
Finally, many thanks to the candidates for their contributions and hard work during
this campaign to win the hearts and minds of people in Hedon and throughout the
constituency.

1. What are your views on the building of a

people living in the towns of Hedon, Preston and Paull? What
