PURPOSE
The purpose of this assignment is to discuss the role and contribution of
Malaysia to The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) was
established on August 8, 1967.
REQUIREMENTS

Malaysia has played a role and contributed significantly in the ASEAN

including in the political, economic and social. The involvements of
Malaysia in ASEAN indirectly ensure political stability and prosperity in
Southeast Asia.
Based on the statement above;
i.

Explain in detail the aims of ASEAN establishment and give relevant

examples.

ii.

Discuss the roles and strategies of Malaysia in improving the

economy among the ASEAN countries.

iii.

Do an analysis of the events that affect diplomatic relations between

Malaysia and any ASEAN country.

TUJUAN
Tugasan ini bertujuan untuk membincangkan peranan dan sumbangan
Malaysia dalam Persatuan Negara-negara Asia Tenggara (ASEAN) yang
telah ditubuhkan pada 8 Ogos 1967.
KEPERLUAN

Malaysia telah memainkan peranan dan memberikan sumbangan yang

besar dalam pertubuhan ASEAN antaranya dalam bidang politik, ekonomi
dan sosial. Penglibatan Malaysia dalam ASEAN secara tidak langsung
dapat memastikan kestabilan politik dan kemakmuran di rantau Asia
Tenggara.
Berdasarkan pernyataan di atas:
