Live Electronics
(2014)
Indications
This technique is circular bow. In the case of this technique on behind the bridge the strings are
notated as open strings (C,G,D,A). The arrow determines the duration of the technique.
With this notation the performer have to slide the finger across the strings. The strings for the
technique are notated as open strings (C,G,D,A).
With this notation the performer have to rub the body of the intrument with the finger tips. When
the line is thicker means a increase in speed and intensity.
This notation is to attack with the bow perpendicular to the string. The bow have to brush the
string. The movement needs to be a back and forth motion in between the fingerboard and the
bridge.
Violin
This technique is a Jet or Ricochet battuto (with the stick of the bow) , behind the bridge.
To be played with the screw of the bow making a percussive sound. Can be played on the
fingerboard or in the tailpiece.
Distortion Sound Graphs
Normal Sound
Diffused sound should be interfered by low sounds appearing occasionally. Depending on pitch
register and the string that the sound is produced, this low sounds are more or less perceptible.
With this notation the performed has to do a scratch on the string. It can be with the fingernail or
with a pick. The lenght is of the note that presented it.
This is the notation for an irregular tremolo on the harp. I am not looking for specific notes but any
note that are on that octave.
The attacks for that technique is: striking the string with soft mallets or with the bare hands. The
arrow define the leght of the technique.
This simbols are for vertical attacks with a card on the harp of the piano. It can be also with
tremolo. I am not looking for specific notes but any note that are on that register. The arrow
determines the duration of the technique.
Strike on the wood of the piano next to the keyboard as is described in the following diagram:
Violent release of the pedal. The movement needs to be quick and in the place of the note.
