The Kimmel Center showcases music from around the world. Not to mention they
have musicians and conductors from around the world.
Education

The Curtis Institute of Music with its international acclaim and free tuition attracts
students from all over the world. Of all the students at the Curtis Institute of Music
40% are international students. Of the entire student body 76% are Caucasian, 16%
are Asian, 6% are African-American, and only 2% are Hispanic. Some of its
graduates go on to become world-renowned stars.
Security and Terrorism

After 9/11 Independence Hall decided to beef up their security in case of terrorist attacks.
They now have a main gat that you must go though to get to either the Liberty Bell or
Independence Hall. The main gate is much like airport security in that it has metal
detectors and bag scanners.

The Italian Market once housed only Italian run businesses, but now has many Asian and
Mexican run stands and restaurants. A majority of the outdoor stands are now Asian or
Mexican run. Many of the traditionally Italian focused stores have branched out to
showcase other countries and cultures.
Environment/Energy

Our biodiesel tank and thermal cells are energy efficient and being used in countries
outside the United States.
Science and Technology

The Franklin Institute has lots of international exhibits that are viewed by people from all
over the world. There were many exhibits such as Body Worlds, King Tut, and Body
Worlds II. Being one of Philadelphia’s big tourist attractions it draws in a very foreign
crowd.
Trade

All of these items were made outside the United States, most of them in Asia. China is
one of our biggest trade partners and is a major exporter of electronics. These electronics
can be found in any household.
Economy

Asian Bank, it’s like a regular bank but for Asian people. The immigrants coming from
other countries mix their economy with our economy, forming a global economy.

The founding fathers based our senate on the senate of the ancient Romans. The
founding fathers were basically madly in love with the Romans. Besides the senate,
the Romans and us were very similar we both focus on sports and our architecture
is roughly based off theirs.
