competition involved 12 Transition students, 18 Form 1 students and 22 Form 2 students.

(Kindly refer to the attachment provided for winners list and participants names for each
category)
Spelling Bee Competition 2015 was held on the same day, 14 August 2015, for each category.
The competition went smoothly as all students tried their best to spell the words given. They
also learnt new words and practiced using the vocabulary indirectly via their active
participation in this competition.
The competition went well from the beginning until the end. Needless to say, SMK Batu
Kawa students had tried their very best to deliver the finest presentation in their final
performance at the auditorium. Even though they did not win any prizes, their high
enthusiasm and commitment throughout the training sessions until the actual day of the
competition were truly commendable. The students also gained new invaluable experience
which made them more confident and well improved English language users in terms of their
proficiency during the course of their participation in this competition.
