Message from the Desk of Design Quiz Administrator

Dear Friends,
Today Design Quiz activity has completed its one year journey; one successful year! Taking this as an
opportunity and pride I would like to share the experiences we had during this journey. Design Quiz
is not an attempt of an individual but its a team work. . . . Probably, that made it a grand success.
The activity was started on a small scale by the permission of Mr. D. A. Bhide and Mr. M. D. Karnik.
The opening of Quiz activity was managed by Mr. Sumit and Mr. Kiran Gurjar. It was difficult at
that time to imagine how the activity will grow?. The constructive suggestions of Ms. Amruta and
Mr. Vivek could help me to elevate the contents to present level. The ceaseless inspiration and technical
support of all these members was helpful to keep the Quiz focused yet with Wider contents.
Addition of topics like - Mind Blowing Facts, anecdotes, Humour, Festivals, Birthday wishes, Weblinks etc, one after the other, kept the freshness of the Quiz, intact.
Last but definitely not the least is All the Readers of Design Quiz, who gave moral support and
always encouraged us to give newer things in every Issue.
We will continue giving more and more Quality contents to you through this activity. . . .but only with
the support and encouragement from all of you. Anyone having new ideas are always welcome !!
Thanks you.
With Warm Regards

Secret of Success- A Moral Story by Socrates
A young man asked Socrates the secret of Success. Socrates told the young man to meet him near the river the next
morning. They met.
Socrates asked the young man to walk with him towards the river.
When the water got up to their neck, Socrates took the young man by surprise and ducked him into the water. The
man struggled to get out but Socrates was strong and kept him there until he started turning blue.
The young man struggled hard and finally managed to get out and the first thing he did was to gasp and take deep
breath. Socrates asked 'What you wanted the most when you were there?' The man replied 'Air'.
Socrates said 'that's the most secret to success. When you want success as badly as you wanted air, you will get it.
There is no other secret'.
