The newspaper, as its name suggests, is a source of news. It gives detailed information of all the
events happening in ones country and in the entire world. The newspaper publishes articles on politics,
commerce, economy, sports, business, society, art and entertainment.
Today, the newspaper still holds a very important place because of the many advantages it has.
First, it is very practical, people can take it with them anywhere they go and read it anytime during the
day. Second, people everywhere are informed about the most important events in the world very quickly
and almost at the same time. Third, the newspaper helps the development of our knowledge. By reading it,
people learn many interesting things. They enrich their vocabulary and develop their minds and points of
view. Fourth, the newspaper is an important means of advertisement. People can find out about jobs,
houses, apartments, or objects they want to buy. Finally, people have the choice to read about different
subjects and topics, such as: sports, music, science, culture, etc
In brief, the newspaper continues to be an important means of information.
