Flag Station
2.2.1 The Flag Station is made from wooden box with 300mm (H) x
300mm (W) x 300mm (L).
2.2.2 The center hole is 50mm in diameter and the depth is 300mm.

Starting Zone
2.7.1 The size of Starting Zone is 10000mm (L) x 1000mm (W).
2.7.2 The detail specifications are shown in Figure 7.

Bush
2.8.1 The Bush is a combination of vase and plywood tree.
2.8.2 The typical diameter for vase is 350 mm. The typical vase height
is 230 mm.
2.8.3 The specification for plywood tree is 400mm (L) X 270mm (H) X
12 (W).
2.8.4 The detail specifications are shown in Figure 7.

Command Zone.
2.9.1 The command zone stage is placed near the game field.
2.9.2 Only one instructor from each team is allowed to give an
instruction from command zone.
2.9.3 The specification for command zone is 2000mm (L) X 500mm
(W).

Game Procedure
3.1 Length of a match
3.1.1 Each match lasts for FIVE (5) minutes.
3.1.2 In the following cases, a match might end in less than five (5)
minutes.

Competition Tasks
4.1 Once the match has begun, each team shall try to complete both of the
tasks;4.1.1 The task of killing the enemy (The Task of Kill).

7.7 The robot used in the contest must be handmade by students of the
university to which the team belongs.
7.8 The Paintball Robot
7.8.1 The Paintball Robot shall switch ON (by a single switch
operation) once it has been started by a team member.
7.8.2 The minimum dimensions of the robot shall not less than 300
mm (long) x 300 mm (wide) x 300 mm (tall).
7.8.3 The dimensions of the robot shall not exceed 800 mm (long) x
800 mm (wide) x 800 mm (tall). The robot cannot be expanded
more than this dimension.
7.8.4 The robot must be powered by single or combination of batteries
either in series or parallel which is not greater than 24 Volt.
7.8.5 To avoid any damages to the robot, all teams are advised to
cover up their robot body as a shield from paintball.
7.8.6 The robot must be designed to operate under unexpected
environment such as wet game field or high humidity ambience.
7.8.7 The robot must use commercial paintball marker (gun) that
available in the market only. The use of custom made paintball
marker including all their accessories is strictly prohibited.
7.9 Detailed rules on safety
7.9.1 The use of explosives, fire and dangerous chemicals is
prohibited.
7.9.2 If a laser is used, it shall be of Class 2 or less. In designing and
preparing the laser, full care must be taken to protect all persons
at the venue from harm during all procedures. In particular, the
beams must be oriented in a way that it is no directed at the
eyes of the spectators.

8.
Violations
8.1 If a violation occurs, a Retry shall be made by bringing the robot back
to the Stating Zone. The place and method of the Retry is laid down in
Retries for Robots. 10 marks will be deducted from the final points.
The following cases are violations:
8.1.1 Any part of robot or touch the opponent team robot.
8.1.2 Other actions that infringe on the rules without producing
disqualification.
9.
Disqualification
9.1 A team shall be disqualified if it commits any of the following during the
match:
9.1.1 The team damages or tries to damage the Field and/or facilities
and equipment or opponents robots.
9.1.2 The team performs any act that is not in the spirit of fair play.
9.1.3 The team fails to obey instructions and/or warnings issued by
the referees.

Others
12.1
The legitimacy of any action not provided for in this rule book shall
be subject to discretion of the referees.
12.2
The dimensions, weights etc. of the Field and other facilities and
equipment described in this rule book have a margin of error of plus
or minus 5% unless otherwise stated.
