NATIONAL BOARD OF ACCREDITATION
The National Board of Accreditation (NBA) is an independent organization engaged in quality
assurance of professional education in India through accreditation. National Board of Accreditation

(NBA) has been accorded Permanent Signatory status of Washington Accord on 13 June 2014. The
Washington Accord is an international accreditation agreement for professional engineering
academic degrees, between the bodies responsible for accreditation in its signatory countries. NBA
has adopted internationally prevailing outcome-based assessment and accreditation, in which
excellence in technical education is evaluated based on the results of the assessment of educational
outcomes, rather than on prescriptive input standards.
WOSA series brings together eminent speakers from industry, corporate and academia from India
and overseas to facilitate free discussion on subjects relating to best practices in accreditation and
means to improve quality of education through these practices. The discussion and global
participation in WOSA 2016 will bring about new ideas and help in establishing new trends of
identifying opportunities and challenges in professional education world-wide.
The summit shall have the following Sub- Themes:

Call for Papers


WOSA 2016 invites papers in the prescribed format. The selected authors will also be given an opportunity for presentation
in the various technical sessions during the summit. The authors are requested to ensure that the contents are relevant to
the main theme and/or sub themes. The guidelines could be seen at the website www.nba-wosa.in.
