Delivering healthcare solutions to the bottom of the pyramid, I have realized the potential for low-cost

innovations. Currently, such innovations are restricted to few geographies due to marketing and regulatory
issues. Post-Babson, I want to establish a platform to offer marketing solutions and regulatory assistance to
help healthcare start-ups scale their operations. In the later stage, I would upgrade the platform to include a
one-stop market place for healthcare professionals/organisations to scout, evaluate and procure efficient
solutions.
In addition to my passion and commitment, to realize my goals, I need knowledge, tools and funds to develop
social enterprises to put forward my thoughts in to action. After talking to Babson alumni and current students
I believe it is the right place for me to shape my thoughts and develop actionable plans. At Babson,
entrepreneurship is embedded into every aspect of the program. The core curriculum and entrepreneurial
concentration with extensive focus on Entrepreneurial Thought and Action, Venture creation and
Entrepreneurship in Health Care technology will allow me hone my entrepreneurial skills. Experiential
learning programs such as Babson Consulting Alliance Program will further enhance my learning experience by
giving me an opportunity to leverage my skills to address real-world problems.
I believe Babson is the right place to materialize my goals. Babson offers me venues like Lewis Institute and
Blank Centre for Entrepreneurship, where I can incubate/evaluate new ideas. I would leverage programs such
as Community Table, Entrepreneurship conferences, and Good Business Fridays to network with
successful/future entrepreneurs, peers and faculty to share and shape my ideas. I will explore Babson Social
Innovation lab to incubate my ideas, and test them in real-world contexts. I would work with the Venture
accelerator to raise capital for my start-up.
Babsons small class-size will facilitate strong bonding with the peers and faculty. At Babson, I will work with
renowned professors like Andrew Corbett to gain nuances on the business strategy and marketing for social
enterprises. I would work with Phillip Kim, to model my start-up plan and evaluate its feasibility.
Located in Boston, Babson has access to world-class healthcare and technology firms. I would leverage this
distinct advantage to network with organisations such as Partners Healthcare and Nanobiosym to broaden my
knowledge on low-cost healthcare innovations.
I believe Babson will give me the skills and support to realize my goals. I look forward to leverage my Babson
experience to redefine healthcare in developing economies.
