May is the beginning of the new church year.I always get excited

about getting something new whatever it may be and I am very excited that God
has given me a new year to serve Him. I have committed myself to giving God my
best for this new chance to be all that I can be. I want to be a faithful servant in
all ways and all year.
It is a depressing thing to see so many Christians who claim to love God but never
do one thing to serve Him. As we look back over last year, are we truly satisfied
with our past service? Have we brought one person to church or even asked one to
come to church? So many Christians are not even concerned about their own
families salvation. I pray that the will not wake up too late to bring them to Christ.
The
Bible says
that
time is short
and it truly is when we are dealing with Souls.
This Sunday evening at the
first Board Meeting
our
pastor
will lay out
his plans
for the
coming year
. It is my prayer that we all will get behind
Bro. Rob
and
work
as hard as he does
. I have told him that he can count on me and I believe, and
hope, that he can count on you also.

Hey everybody! Since Josh is gone on vacation this week you get to hear from me again! This

weekend Josh and I took

Paul Voils to Mount Vernon
Nazarene University to compete in the regional quiz meet

Mary and Josh Brinegar and Alleson Jones tagged along and we had a BLAST! Even though our districts team
lost, our kids learned a lot. I am extremely proud of them all for the work they have put in and for Paul for making
it to the regional quiz.

. Josh Brinegar informed Josh and me that
Bobby was the reason that he decided to come to church. Before, he didnt feel like he would like church, but he and
Bobby discussed it and Bobby convinced Josh to try it out. Now they are both big parts of our youth group.

. Over this last year he has grown a
lot spiritually. He hardly ever misses and takes church seriously. Next year, he wants to be a part of our quiz team.
