Solution1:ChangeDNSAddresstoOpenDNS
Thisworkedformeprettywell.AllIhavedoneischangedmy
PCsautomaticallyobtainedDNSserveraddressestoOpenDNS.
Rightclickonyournetworkiconfromwindowstaskbarthenclick
onNetworkandSharingCenter.

Afterwards,lookforLocalAreaConnectionandclickonit,then
fromthenewwindowclickonProperties.ThenselectInternet
ProtocolVersion4andhitPropertiesagain.Inthenewwindow
selecttheradiobuttonthatsaysUsethefollowingDNSserver
addressesandtheninthepreferredDNSserverboxtype
in208.67.222.222andinthealternateDNSserverboxtype
in208.67.220.220andthenchecktheboxthatsaysValidate
settingsuponexitthenclickOK.

fromthetoprightcornerandthenclickonSettings.Scroll
downandclickonShowAdvancedSettings.Underthe
privacysectionclickonClearBrowsingData.Inthenew
windowchecktheboxthatsaysCookiesandOthersiteand
PluginDataalsocheckCachedImagesandFilesafterthat
clickonClearbrowsingdata.
ClearingCacheinFirefoxToclearthecacheinMozilla
Firefox,clickonHistorythenclearrecenthistory.Afterwards
clickondetails.CheckCookiesandCachefromthereand
clickonClearnow.
Youcanalsotryreinstallingthebrowserandseeifitresolvethe
problem.Anotheroptionwouldbeinstallinganewbrowserthat
youhaventbeenusingalready.LikeSafariorOpera.
Solution3:Reboot,PowerCycleYourRouter
Rebootyourrouterfromtheroutersettings.Accessyourrouter
settingswiththeURLsgivenbelowforvariousrouters.The

leaveitforatleast5minutesandthenplugitinagain.Waituntil
therouterfullystartsthentrytoloadthewebpage.

Solution4:Release/RenewIPandFlushDNS
YourIPaddressmaycausetheconnectionissueandyoucan
releasetheIPandrenewitwhichmightsolvetheproblem.Open
windowscommandpromptbytypingcmdinwindowssearchbox
andhittingenter.Thentypeinipconfig/releaseandhitenter.
Oncedoneagaintypeinipconfig/renewandhitenteragain.

Makesurethereisaspacebetweenipconfigandforwardslash.
NowwewillflushtheDNSthatcouldbeasolutiontoyour
problem.Openupcommandpromptagainandtypeinipconfig
/flushdnsandhitenter.

ThiswillflushtheDNScacheinyourcomputer.
Solution5:CheckFirewallandInternetSecuritySettings
Therearealsochancesthatyourfirewallorinternetsecurity
softwaremaybeblockingparticularwebsitesforsecurityreasons.
Makesurethecheckthefirewallandinternetsecuritysoftware
settingsandfindoutiftheyarecausingtheissue.Alsobeware
thatyouaccidentallydontvisitamaliciouswebsiteblockedby
yourfirewall.
Solution6:TryUninstallingAnyWebsiteFilteringSoftware
Ifyouareusingwebsitesfilteringsoftwarethenyoushould

Anybodyhavingthisproblemtryreplacingthe
router,anddidtheproblempersist?Myphone
intermittentlyshowsDNS...NoInternet,fixesitself
magically,andthenanhourlateritwon'twork
againfor10minutes.Mylaptopwillusuallystill
haveInternetaccessduringthesetimes,but
occasionallyitfallsvictimaswell.MyISPsucks
soI'mprobablygoingtoswitchprovidersandget
anewrouteranyway,andhopethatfixesit.
