Buchau in Maurach.
Trail features With a distance of 56 km and
an elevation gain of 1500 m, this is one of
the longest routes. The trails are in excellent
condition except for the short transition at
Kgljoch. Generally, its a difficult route. Riding time is 6 hours 30 minutes.

Route description Follow the signposts

with Via Bavarica Tyrolensis (29) and ride to
Achenkirch along the eastern shore of Lake
Achensee (45 minutes from Maurach). At
about 500 m north of the lake, turn right across a bridge. Shortly afterwards turn right
onto a farm track next to a double garage.
After another 150 m, pass under the Achenseebundesstrasse and continue north for
400 m next to this road until you reach the
turnoff for Kglalm. Follow the signposts
(no. 461, then 402) to Kglalm and to Kgljoch and back down again, past Schnjochalm and to Steinberg am Rofan (2,5 hours
from Achenkirch). From there, continue
north on the main road for about 2.5 km until you get to the turnoff for Alter Steinbergweg (461, 465). Keep riding on this good forest trail for about 3 km until you take a right
turn (464, 465). Having reached the road,
turn left and after 150 m pass the large

forest trail to Gufferthtte (464, 465). Follow this trail until you reach the hut (2 hours
from Steinberg). After a rest at the hut go
back the last 200 m and follow the signposts
to Kaiserhaus (464, 465). After the bridge
across Brandenberger Ache, turn right and
continue to Kaiserhaus (344, 465; 1h 15min
ab Gufferthtte).
