To add a new timing source:

Click the Add button on the bottom of the Setup-NE Timing Source
Configuration dialog box. The Set Timing Source dialog box (see Figure
above ) will be displayed.
Timing Source
Displays the list of timing source for selection.
System/Bypass
Displays the system timing source and bypass timing source. System clock
is the working clock for phase-lock loop of SDH system, and export clock is
the independent output clock system.
Receive SSM Set Value
Sets the QL (quality level) of this receiving timing source, which is valid
when SSM protocol is selected.
Transmit SSM Mode
Select Force or Auto from the drop-down list.
When Force is selected, the selected port will be forced to send QL of the
timing source. When Auto is selected, the QL of the timing source sent at
the selected port is that of the current operating reference clock. In this
case, the current operating reference clock is not the timing source of the
selected port.
Force Transmit SSM Value
Force the selected port to send QL value of the timing source.
Priority
Set the priority of the timing source manually. The highest priority is 1, and
the lowest is 256.

Click the Add and setup

the timing Source

To cancel and quit the NE setup, click the Close button on the SetupNE Attributes Configuration dialog box.

To complete the setting for NE setup (initialization), click the End button
on the Setup-NE Attributes Configuration dialog box.

To modify any settings for NE setup again, click the Back button on the
Setup-NE Attributes Configuration dialog box to go back to the
Setup-NE Clock Module Configuration dialog box.

To download any data to NE, click the check box Download (leaving a
tick) and adjust the system time.

In this dialog box, perform one of the followings:

When all the settings required for NE setup (initialization) are completed, the
Setup-NE Attributes Configuration dialog box is displayed as shown in
