Trailhead Mayrhofen is accessible via Zillertal Bundesstrasse, or with the Zillertalbahn train from Jenbach (in about an hour).
Parking is available on the southern outskirts of Mayrhofen.
Trail features The route has a distance of
15 km and an elevation gain of 900 m. You
will mostly ride on paved trails and wellbuilt forest trails. Theres one short pushing
section. The route was rated as intermediate.
Riding time is 3 hours.

Route description From the bandstand in

Mayrhofen, proceed west for about 100 m
and then turn left onto the main street of
the center. After about 500 m, cross the
stream and turn half-right onto Tuxerstrasse
and onto the federal road. Follow the signposts to Ginzling until a narrow paved trail
branches off right to Finkenberg Tux. Follow
this trail uphill to Finkenberg (about 1 hour
from Mayrhofen) until you again reach the
main road to Tux. Continue uphill, taking
two turns before turning right to Astegg. The
route proceeds uphill and out of the valley
for about 1 km to Pension Gletscherblick,
where you take a sharp left turn (Mittelstation). Then follow the signposts to Lanersbach. The route continues uphill to an
elevation of 1500 m (short pushing section
through pastures, 28a) and then descends
on forest roads to Vorderlanersbach (2 hours
from Finkenberg).
