Eligibility Criteria
Must be Indian citizens, residing in Jharkhand. Also must have passed
his/her 12th grade with the subjects Physics and Math as compulsory subject
along with Chemistry or Biotechnology.
S/he must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks and An applicant about
to appear for the final examination of the 12th grade can also apply but s/he
needs to pass before the counselling.
There will be two examination for JCECE, preliminary and final, Both the
examination will be on different day and for each question paper, it will be
consist of total 200 objective type of questions. Time duration will be of two
and half hours. Mainly questions are asked from the following topics uttered
below.

Chemistry
Chemistry: Topics Area> in this division of JCECE 2016, the topics that
including molecular structure, thermodynamic, chemical formula and
composition, preparation and properties of acids/alkalis, organic chemistry,
electro chemistry, general principle of isolation, Nucleic Acids,
Thermodynamics, molecular structure chemical bonding, thermo chemistry,
nuclear chemistry, structure of solid, gas phase reaction and oxidationreduction reaction.
Exam Pattern
There will be two papers - Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 will be held in both
the modes online and offline. The online mode is termed as Computer
Based examination. The offline mode is termed as Pen and Paper Based
examination. The applicant has to select which mode s/he wants to opt for.
Paper 2 will be held only in the Pen and Paper mode.
Paper 1 is for admission into B.E. or B. Tech. Paper 2 is for admission into
B.Arch. or B. Planning. Paper 1 includes the subjects of Physics, Chemistry &
Mathematics. Paper 2 includes the subjects Mathematics, Aptitude Test and
Drawing Test.
Candidates those who clear the final examination will be selected for the
counselling so that they can get the courses in desired college according to
their rank.
Application Form
You are need to fill their application form correctly and paste their recent
passport size photograph on its. Candidates have to put their signature in
the given box and must mention their exam center and correspondence
address.
