Due to continued expansion and customer demand, an exciting opportunity has arisen for Technical
Consultants to join our consulting practices. risual actively support and encourage individuals to take their

Purpose
As a Technical Consultant, you will be responsible for the scoping, design, deployment, service delivery and
on-going support of latest Microsoft Technologies in a field based role, delivering for large and enterprise
customers across the UK. risual consulting operates in four practices specialising in various Microsoft
solutions and you will be able to0selct the practice which best meets your interest and skills.
Responsibilities
Your duties will include:
Customer liaison to project requirements, scope and integration with existing systems
Development, configuration, integration, testing, optimisation, implementation and debug of
bespoke customer solutions
Testing of software applications or hardware devices that may be deployed to enhance solution
Resolve technical issues and offer proactive technical support
Development of tools that may be used by others to help provision, manage or troubleshoot
deployments
Documentation of solutions to ensure support teams and other consultants can participate in
support and onward development
Working both remotely and on customer sites where appropriate to perform tasks
Required Skills
You are expected to have some but not all of the following skills:
Knowledge of Windows Server and associated Microsoft Server applications such as Exchange,
Lync, System Center
Concepts of Server Operating Systems and Virtualisation
Understanding of Cloud Computing in particular Office 365 and Azure
Strong documentation skills
Strong problem solving skills
Strong communication skills as the role will be primarily customer focused and will involve
managing customer and stakeholder expectations
Must be able to successfully achieve UK Security clearance
