Goa
Goa is quite possibly the no.1 go-to place in the country for anyone who
wishes to go for a relaxing vacation. Especially ultra-popular among
students who live within a 1000km radius of the state. Goa is mostly home to
beaches that see either newly-wed couples replicating the Titanic pose in
front of the setting sun beyond the sea or of course the same college
students dressed rather audaciously for the occasion.
Being one of the countrys most frequented places, thanks to the cheap
alcohol it offers combined with the sublime beaches, Goa is one place whose
charm never fades away irrespective of what season is at the helm. The
beach and alcohol is an addiction that only a few can refrain from. It is a
world of its own with tall coconut trees and friendly people always used to
tourists all over the year and from all across the globe. The peculiarity
regarding the foreigners is the massive presence of Russians at this place, to
the extent of local signboards accepting Russian as the third staple language
of communication. Though this is not where the unflinching peculiarities &
charm of this place ends; there is a lot more to Goa than what meets the
eye, you just need the eye of experience & detail.

from the fringes of the Anjuna beach and moves inwards towards the vast
agricultural fields. Anjuna Flea Market gets organized on every Wednesday
with around 5000 + voluntary sellers who participate in this weekly fair.
Originally started by the hippies of the 70s generation, now the market

out this night market was none other than Ingo. The German Guy, Ingo came
to Goa and decided to set up the now famous Saturday Night Bazaar.
Sometimes also called as Saturday Nite Bazaar or Saturday Nite Market or
Ingos Market or Arpora Night Market. So he went up to an old Goan family
with a big house and sprawling grounds in Arpora and got them to lease the
land to him for the bazaar activity. The idea caught everyones attention and
this Saturday night market has been the most successful multinational
enterprise in Goa for the past 7 to 8 years. Presently its the landlord and
Goan Mr. Clive who is successfully running the night market. On for about 3
months of the winter months, it brings an eclectic bunch of traders from
the ubiquitous Rajasthani and Kashmiri vendors of India to all hues of
foreigners hawking stuff from handmade shoes (nice) to variegated trinkets.
The market starts at 4pm and by 8pm the place gets pretty crowded and
there is a nice beat going.
3. Newton's Supermarket - This is one of the largest supermarkets of Goa.
If you plan to stay long at Acorn, then all your daily vegetable, fruits,
packaged and processed foods are easily available with a huge choice at
