Different MTO methodolgy between Tripatra and Saipem Milan.
Saipem SA add some factor to give them confidence value.
Meanwhile Tripatra use Iso sktech to get MTO refer to FEED
Model.
In Saipem style, It have an activities Piping Mechnized, The
activities are :
a. Prepare Line number,
b. Check pipe break class
c. Check pipe class
Meanwhile in Tripatra work style, those activities belong to
Process
need more carefully for PICOM input
Schedule was delayed; Manhour is not used effectively.
MTO is delayed.

Bill of quantity will not be provided completely.

Only process give the plot plan comments, others department


not give their comments.

No optimation for ISBL (Saipem Milan) scope

No Isometric sketch have been produced by Saipem Milan

Since Saipem Milan not confortable with MTO, the use factor. It
make budget qty is increased
Saipem Milan calcualate MTO Spring sport based on pipe
weight factor. So even in Pipe rack there were 400 set spring
support. Normally we never install pipe support on pipe rack
Saipem Milan have own description because of PICOM output
1. Relay on PICOM
2. Piping material spec use dummy PMC

2. ISBL scope still have different qty for net MTO
Tripatra methode :
a. Pipe divided 6 meter
b. Fitting joint number is 1
c. Tee joint number is 2
Saipem methode :
a. Pipe joint number based on Area,
Pipe rack devided 6 meter
Arround equipment 4 meter
b. Fitting joint number 2
c. Tee joint number 3

No due date of vendor submission for quotation.


There is no technical bid evaluation form in RFQ document.

Set-up MTO Methodology in eraly proposal stage. Not discuss at
the end of preparation Final MTO

To be defined which company standard to be followed, PMT to


decide

Need checker for PICOM input


Have a good understanding of our objectives and purposes.
Design a good internetwork connection.

Have a complete material database in advance.

Plot plan optimazion is one of the key project to reduce the


cost, if the proposal member didn't aware about plot plan
optimazion, how we can reduce the cost
Saipem Milan didn't do optimazion for ISBL plot plan to possible
reduce cost. The reason the plot plan optimazion will be done
during detail engineering
If MTO Methodology mention regarding Isometric MTO shall be
prepared during proposal, it mean both parties shall do the
same. Current situation only OSBL scope (Tripatra Scope) had
prepare Isometric MTO sketch

TQ to client to deleted Flare line to be PFP, only pipe rack is


mandatory not piping

MTO methodology to be fix in the beginning of Proposal


We shall prepare procedure to counted MTO spring Support

Tripatra shall have Commodity Code builder spec such as SPRD


Tripatra shall use inetelegent software such as SPMAT

line by line MTO, Tripatra methode to be used
