About Me
I am an extremely driven and hard working individual. I am also avidly interested in the
world of journalism, current affairs, sociology and technology. I am experienced in writing
for a number of different platforms, including student newspapers and magazines,
websites and blogs. I am also at the forefront of setting up and producing a new Grimsby
Town FC fanzine along with a number of fellow fans.
My other interests include football and music; I follow Grimsby Town FC both home and
away and I take pleasure in reading. I am also fascinated by history; I studied it up until
A-Level and since then have enjoyed delving far deeper into subjects which have
engrossed me.
I am thrilled about the prospect of working within the world of journalism, an industry
which I anticipate to be an exhilarating one to work in. I recently undertook two weeks of
practical work experience within the journalism world; this consisted a week with the
Grimsby Telegraph and a week with the Scunthorpe Telegraph. During my work
placement I picked up some valuable skills to add to my existing abilities, and had a
number of articles printed in the newspapers.
