Dear Dr. Rotoras,

I would like to take this opportunity to express my interest in applying for a teaching
position in your prestigious institution and perhaps be part of your roster of competent
teachers. If given the opportunity in your institution, I will be able to teach good values in
line with your institutions Mission and Vision, goals, and development plans.
With this, I have been teaching as part-time in Lourdes College since 2007 under the Arts
and Science, and as a contractual instructor of Xavier University Ateneo de Cagayan
under the History/International Studies/Political Science Department since 2014.
Currently, I am accomplishing my Masters of Arts in History at Xavier University, with the
hope of coming up with a very acceptable thesis output and will be defending it within the
upcoming school calendar year. Last year, I was able to complete the requirements
needed for the MOOC Camp short course Introduction to Civic Ecology which was
provided by Cornell University in partnership with EdX and the US Department of State.
As a graduate of the International Studies Program of Xavier University in 2003, I was
granted the opportunity to become the Moderator of Ateneo, Diplomatic Corps, a Cocurricular organization of the International Studies Program for the School Year 20152016, in which I was able to guide the organization and its members to become the best
among all the organizations and won the 2016 Magis Award to both for the Organization
Category and the the Organization President Category. In 2009-2010, I was employed as
contractual by the Department of Tourism Region 10 as the BIMP-EAGA Joint Tourism
Development Cluster Coordinator for the Philippine Region. And, I am also a Civil Service
Eligible since 2005.
For the Past years I have been teaching the following subjects for both schools; Philippine
History, Rizal Studies, World Civilization, World History, East Asia Studies, Asian Studies,
Philippine Government with Constitution (Political Science), Social Studies, Philippine
Diplomacy and Politics, Consular and Diplomatic Practices, and, Overview of International
Economics.
