Jojimar Kenneth M. Gonowon March 17,1985 Nayong Paraal, Basa Air Base, Floridablanca, Pampanga. 1. Family and Educational Background My father is Joseph S. Gonowon, a retired Soldier. My mother is Lina M. Gonowon, a retired teacher. I am the youngest and we are only two children in our family. My sister is Joli Ann Mari Gonowon, she is married with a soldier who is working in the Camp at Basa Air Base, Floridablanca, Pampanga. My sister also has children, a boy and a girl. I graduated from Mother of Good Counsel Seminary with a degree of Bachelor of Arts, Major in Philosophy. This seminary is from Pampanga and I took two years of regency before I went back again to the said seminary to take my theological studies. I finish my third year theology at the seminary and I enjoyed studying but I was exhausted so I decided to take a rest for three years in order for me to discern for my life. I worked as Sales Executive at Gourmet Farms Inc. I was reminded of how to love what is present before me. Now, I realize to enter again in the seminary and I really enjoyed and still enjoying what I am doing here. I love Christ just like He loves me so much. II. Religious Inclination and Formation My mother influenced me a lot. Her religiosity attracted me most in pursuing my priesthood. She never forgets to pray. I was an altar boy during my elementary days. I used to serve at mass when I was in grade 3. However, my mother wanted me to enter the seminary after I would graduate in elementary but I declined. I promised to my mother to enter the seminary after high school. My decision made me dedicated to the church before I entered the seminary at Pampanga. My formation in the seminary taught me many things, personal and harnessing my capabilities. My parents supported me in all my decisions especially in having regency. My five years of regency enabled me to work on myself and all of my errands in life. I was able to grasp as much as possible my disposition that I am pursuing to become. And I decided to dedicate myself to God, Himself. III. Motivation As I gather my experiences about my undertaking, one thing that is very significant to me is the capacity to love. I learned many things in life. I learned how to see people using my own heart. There were many struggles in life. I cry often. I never regret that. It doesnt mean that I am weak but it really means that I know what I feel. I know where I coming from. I know what I am doing. And, I learned how to sacrifice things. When I work, I put my heart in it. Needless to say, I am a silent worker. I listen carefully and slowly understand what it really means. These are the things about life that we take for granted. We were able to grasp it when it dies. My motivation is always giving the best that I could - the best of me.
