Lead management team of 16 with more than 400 resources in all aspects of distribution, logistics,
warehousing, kitting, and fulfillment operations in 30 corporate and 3PL warehouse locations throughout the
U.S., Canada, Mexico, and Puerto Rico. Craft and execute strategies that align with overarching business
objectives. Establish and manage project teams to enhance distribution capabilities, order management,
service delivery, billing, fulfillment, logistics and warehouse activities. Guide team training and mentoring.
Collaborate with strategic teams to set competitive pricing structures. Direct $65.5M annual operating budget.
Achieved margin growth in our distribution & fulfillment sites the past 5 years by creating new
offerings, utilizing lean and continuous improvement actions.
Built strong business partnerships with vendors, external customers and the internal sales teams
which in turn has led to successful cost controls and service execution.
Led technology implementation and process improvement initiatives that greatly improved fulfillment
capabilities, increasing same-day fill rate from 95.7% in 2004 to 99.2% in 2010.
Leveraged 3PL distribution methodology to slash distribution costs by over $1.5M annually.
Sponsored as an executive 15 of the companys largest customers; ensuring we are executing in all
areas of service within all departments.
Headed the startup of a 400K square foot Marketing Center of Excellence as acting GM in the Louisville,
KY area which now serves as a key pillar in the companys marketing service offering.

Supervised a team of 100+ FTEs in the marking department who were responsible for processing flat
goods and garments on hangers.
Managed the fully automated picking area which serviced over 97 Mervyns stores.
Responsible for total management of the shipping department which included being the liaison
between the stores and the distribution center, loading, dispatching and delivery.
Helped implement a new paperless bar-code enabled system within the distribution center.
