Nararapat bang Ituro ang Sex Education sa Elementarya?

Ang pagkakaroon ng sapat na kaalaman tungkol sa sex ay maaring mabawasan ang

patuloy na paglobo ng populasyon sa ating bansa. Isa sa mga pangunahing gampanin ng mga
guro, ito ay ang turuan o ituro sa mga mag-aaral ang mga nararapat o sapat na kaalaman tungkol
sa mga patuloy na pagbabago n gating lipunan. Sa panahon natin ngayon, patuloy na dumadami
ang mga kaso ng maagang pagbubuntis lalong-lalo na sa mga malayo sa bayan o kung tawagin
nilay baryo. Ang kakulangan sa kaalaman ang isang nakikitang pangunahing dahilan sa likod ng
problemang ito. Kahit na ang karamihan sa mga biktima nito ay dulot ng pagiging curious, ay
hindi pa rin sapat na dahilan para masangkot sa maagang pagbubuntis, dapat silang maging
maalam tungkol sa mga ganitong mga bagay o kaso na nagaganap sa ating lipunan ngayon.
Ang sex ay isa sa mga sensitibong usapin o paksa sa panahon natin ngayon. Naririyan ang
madaming kontrobersya patungkol sa sex o sex education bilang isang subject sa paaralan.
Karamihan sa mga guro, magulang at maging ang mga mag-aaral ay nagsasabi na hindi na sila
matanda at may sapat na kaalaman na raw sila para pag-arala pa ang ganitong mga usapin.
Kasama nito, nararapat bang ituro sa paaralan ang Sex Education?
The increasing number of early pregnancy is so very alarming and very catchy to the eyes
of different people. One of the main reason why it become alarming is because people are not
aware or not that much knowledgeable about this topic. So, this is now the right time for the
school to add sexual/sex education in the teaching process. It will help every individual from
teachers, parents, and students to become aware and have an enough knowledge to discuss this
kind of topic or issue.
Ang patuloy na pagdami ng mga nabubuntis ng maaga ay sadyang nakaka-alarma at
nkakatawag pansin para sa ibang mga krititko at sa ibang mga tao.Isa sa mga nakikitang dahilan
nito ay ang walang sapat na kaalaman o wala talagang alam tungkol sa mga ganitong bagay.
Ngayon, ito na ang tamang panahon para isama o idagdag sa ating kurikulum ang Sex Education.
Through teaching sexual education, we can help our children to become aware about
early pregnancy. We can also impart knowledge about this matter to the parents for them to
become aware about this topic. If the parents have an enough knowledge in this matter, they can

help the school in discussing this matter to their sons/daughters. Through teachers with help of
parents, they can tell to their pupils, or students the true reality or danger of early pregnancy or
early engaging to Pre-Marital Sex (PMS). But, before including it in the curriculum, teacher
should attend seminars about this subject because not all teachers are knowledgeable enough in
teaching this subject in the school. They should learn different teaching strategies and techniques
so that the lesson will flawlessly delivered or discussed in the class. It should be also discussed
properly in the class because it is a sensitive topic.
Adding this subject to the teaching curriculum will help every individual to avoid
mistakes and we can help to decrease the increasing cases of early pregnancy and the increasing
growth of the population in our country. We will also have an enough knowledge about family
planning, using contraceptives and the advantage of being aware when it comes in making love.
Making Sex Education as a subject matter is very indeed a must, especially to our country,
because if they can implement it, I am sure that the cases of early pregnancy, early engaging to
Pre-Marital Sex, and early Marriage will reduce and end the every blowing population of our
loving country. All we have to do is to become an open-minded person and face the reality and
danger of not being enough knowledgeable about sex if we do not include the Sex Education as a
Subject Matter on our K-12 Curriculum. As a future teacher, I stand with the person who is
willing that the school should teach sex education. How about you? Do you have the concern for
