Career Opportunities
The global IT services market size is $846 Billion (Source: Gartner Research) at 6.6% CAGR and Indias IT
Outsourcing market is estimated to be $60 Billion as per NASSCOM 2011 report. As threats increase and
enterprises place an increasingly higher level of priority on the security function, the need for trained staff is
very high.
Employers are looking for highly skilled and qualified professionals with a very strong understanding of
Information Security concepts and relevant experience. But, in a rather new industry segment, such staff are
relatively difficult to find.
The Career Impact Survey-2012 conducted by (ISC) 2, from more than 82,250 security professionals from
more than 135 countries found that 62 percent reported that they are looking to hire additional permanent
or contract Information Security employees in 2012. Roughly 34 percent reported an increase in new hires in
2011.
It also concludes that If youre a well-trained, experienced professional in todays IT security market, you are
facing a world of opportunity. But if youre an IT executive looking to find such people for your enterprise,
youre in for a tough challenge. Even in the most difficult of economic times, security is a full-employment
field. With the growing number of threats on the horizon, and the growing awareness of cyber security
vulnerabilities and issues inside the enterprise, it is clear that IT security will be a top priority for Government
and Corporate in the coming year and likely for years to come.
22
Job opportunity for Cyber Security Professions are available at various departments of different sectors like
Corporate, Banking, Finance and Insurance, Defense and Police, Government, Legal and Cyber Forensic
Consultant. The positions that these IT Security professions can hold are Chief Information Security Officer,
Information Security Officer, Database Security Officer, Information Security Expert, Malware Analyst,
Forensics Expert, Forensics Analyst, Incident Responder, Business Continuity Manager, IT Security Auditor,
Penetration Tester, Ethical Hacker, and Security Testing Engineer etc.

Job Role
Career Opportunities
The public Cloud market in India in 2014 is estimated at $400 million and this is expected to touch $4.5 billion
by 2015. It expects the private Cloud market, where the infrastructure is operated for specific companies,
to create 1, 00,000 IT jobs by 2015 from 10,000 IT jobs created today. It also warns that companies are
currently under-skilled in addressing Cloud Computing implementations. Even at the Global market, jobs in
Cloud Technologies are supposed to grow the fastest.
34
The Cloud Computing impact on other parts of the economy will also be significant. According to a paper
by research firm IDC, jobs will be created across functional areas such as marketing, sales, finance and
administration, production and service. More than 50 per cent will be in small and medium businesses, two
million plus each in communications and media, and manufacturing, and over 1.4 million in banking. Of the
13.8 million jobs created globally by 2015 because of Cloud Computing,

Student Speak
I have always been driven by passion to be a good artist. After joining the M.Sc. Animation course in Gujarat
University, I realized that I had joined a wonderful institute which thinks about students ability and skills. The
college environment was very good. After completing the course, I got a job as a film maker and animator. I
thank iNature ToonSkool Animation Academy and Gujarat University for fulfilling my dreams
-Prachi Shah, M.Sc. Animation
I completed my post graduate degree in Animation from Gujarat University. The course is really one of its kind.
I liked the hands-on approach because it has taken my learning beyond just theory. I have made short movies.
The faculty invested their time and knowledge in the students which has broadened my horizon and helped me
at my work place. During my studies at the Gujarat University I especially appreciated being taught by professors
with Real-World experience which has equipped us to confront real situations in our professional career.
-Pushti, M.Sc. Animation
I did my masters in Animation (M.Sc) from iNurture ToonSkool Animation Academy at Gujarat University. I
course pattern helped me to gain hands-on experience in the field of Animation and VFX(Motion Graphics).
We were regularly updated about the industry. The efforts of our faculty have helped us become independent
professionals in the entertainment industry. Today I am working with one of the renowned documentary film
makers as an Assistant Director. Because of my faculty I gained confidence to work on large scale and achieved
my dream of being what I am today.
-Urvij N Dave, M.Sc. Animation
I came across iNurtures M.Sc IT IMS course when I was looking for industry-specific course. The course covered
IT infrastructure related areas like Virtualization, Networking, Server Administration, ITIL/ITSM, IT Security etc.,
touching the current IT trend for which there is an increasing demand in the market. While I was in the II semester,
I was selected for internship by one of ITIL/ITSM Consulting companies. I completed my IV semester project by
working I the company. This gave me a clear understanding of how companies work in real under an unintended
IT infrastructure domain. On completing the course, I joined same company in which I did internship.
