This is a joint program between University of South Australia and PSG IAS in Mechatronics Engineering leading
to BE (Honours). In this unique program students study 2
years in India and 2 years in Australia.

Eligibility
Minimum Qualifications and Selection Process
Candidates with aggregate of 80% in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry in the plus 2 of Tamil Nadu Government examinations or equivalent are eligible to apply.
Applicants with high academic credentials may be given
direct admission. Other short listed candidates will be
called for interview / written test for final selection.
Selection and date of commencement of classes will be
communicated to the candidates through email / letters.
Students must achieve minimum academic standards
in English language and attain one of the following test
scores before travelling to University of South Australia:
IELTS 6.0 overall, reading and writing 6.0
TOEFL PBT 550, TWE 4.5 (TOEFL IBT 80, all bands
>20)

Program Highlights
All students are permitted to work in Australia part-time up
to 40 hours per fortnight during study periods and unlimited hours during teaching breaks.
12 weeks of compulsory industrial experience to apply and
integrate knowledge and skills in an industry setting.

Graduates are eligible for automatic membership of Engineers Australia with reciprocal recognition by engineering

Easy Access
Adelaide is big enough to offer all the advantages of city living
an energetic business environment and a vibrant cultural life
yet the city is small enough so that those advantages are easily accessible. You can get from the airport to the downtown
area in 15 minutes, or between university campuses within
30 minutes, and its easy to find your way around. There are
direct flight to Adelaide from Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and
Hong Kong.

include the Ian Work Research Institute with its focus on
nanotechnology, biotechnology, and particle and material
interfaces; the Barbara Hardy Institute which researches
sustainable systems and technologies; and the Institute for
