As per your security plan, use metal detector to check for potential dangerous object on every
customer that enters the building.
Make sure that there is no loitering in the approximate vicinity of the venue before and during
cabaret activity. Alert DJ or performer that 10 minutes remain for scheduled entertainment.
No Hip-Hop events will be planned for the extended hour days.
Record noise levels every 30 minutes as well as any incidents in an Incident Report Log located
in the main office.
Security should request loiters to leave the area. Upon refusal, Security should phone the
Oakland Police Department to arrest suspects for obstruction of a business in violation of 602.1
(a) California Penal Code.
During dismissal hours, security should conduct a full walkthrough of the 1400 block of
Webster Street along the east sidewalk, 300 block of 14th Street north sidewalk. Identify and
deter car congregations and car noise level in approximate vicinity of the venue as well as
checking for possible high risk events outside the venue and diffuse potential situations.
Set hours may be adjusted only pursuant to thirty days notification to and approval by the City
Administrators Office.
The permit shall be subject to suspension or revocation according to the standards of Chapter
5.02, and the owner/operator shall be liable for excessive police costs related to enforcement.
The Chief of Police, in his or her discretion, may immediately suspend, and recommend for
revocation, such permit for any reason for which the granting of such permit might be lawfully
denied, to protect the person and property of patrons of the location, or to protect the safety and
welfare of the general public. If such suspension was the result of violent crime, narcotic related
crime, melee, or gang activity emanating from or occurring on the premises the suspension shall
not be removed until a final decision from the hearing officer has been rendered.
