I will be graduating with my BSN from Dixie State University in August 2016. Im
interested in fulfilling the management position needed on the surgical unit. I believe my
educational background and work experiences will be extremely beneficial to your facility. As
your hospital has been designated as the Best Hospital in Southern Utah, this speaks a lot
regarding the quality of patient care you offer.
As noted on my resume, I have obtained excellent skills in patient evaluation during my
years as an associates degree nurse. I have a demonstrated ability in providing patient care that
focuses on all facets of a persons physical condition; emotional, physical, spiritual, and
psychosocial. My experience as a nurse has given me the confidence and skills to care for
patients efficiently. Besides, I have the capability to work together with other healthcare
professionals. I am enthusiastic regarding this position understanding that good patient care
requires a solid foundation in nursing practice, prioritization and good communication skills.
These capabilities, coupled with my sympathy, staying power, and patient support
expertise, are what I can offer at Dixie Regional Medical Center as a registered nurse in the
