Hello, First Grade! My heart is happy because YOU are a member of our
class. I have been anticipating your arrival and Im excited about all the
plans for our school year! Ive spent this summer thinking and planning,
creating and getting ready for our year just for you. I want the best for
my First Graders at Corbin Primary!

has THREE sons?

Mrs. West taught First Grade in Haiti for

two years. It was wonderful to help boys
and girls there, that do not usually get to
go to school.

One of her boys is in 5th grade,

another is in 3rd grade, and there
will be a boy with her at Corbin
Primary, in Kindergarten!

Did you Know

Your new First Grade teacher
has seen a US president in

Mrs. West saw George Bush, Sr.
when he visited South Laurel
High School in London, KY.
Your new Second Grade teacher has been
on the Martha Stewart show? She got to ask
a question about Spring Cleaning!
