Sample lesson 1

Topic: One hand underhand throw


Objectives:

To learn and improve manipulative skill of throwing a ball underhand


Work cooperatively with others

Equipment: Variety of balls, hoops, clipboards, pencil

CONTENT
Entry activity: (3mins)

ORGANISATION
Place balls in different containers
in different corners

Teaching points/Cues
Each student takes a ball on entry

Part 1 : Introductory
activity/ warm up: (5 mins)

Each child with a ball in a space

Find different ways to throw the ball

Part 2: skill development


Body

Individual: (10 mins)- Introduce
