FS Reflection

To teach is to touch lives forever. This is one of the most important insights
that I have learned in FS 1 and 2.
Teaching is not just being able to deliver your discussion well, but it is also
about influencing, honing and developing the skills, abilities and capabilities of the
students. This subject matter has taught me many things that I can use in the
future.
I have learned that a good teacher must hold the learners attention before
presenting the topic. All the PSTs that weve observed employed different hooking
and motivational activities. These things made me realize that the use of
entertaining and enjoyable activities is of great help. It is because every lesson
should begin in gaining the attention of the students.

Teachers and students must be collaborative in a classroom session.

Teachers must help and guide the students in acquiring knowledge and students
must help and cooperate with their teachers in achieving their goals in teaching
and learning. A classroom must serve as a comfort zone for the students and
teachers towards their journey of acquiring knowledge and gaining new
experiences in their everyday life in school.
