Thedefinitionofcowbothasaformalandinformalnounisprettyinterestingtoponderabout.The
informalnounisapatriarchalslangusedtodevaluefemalegender.However,Iamnotrightnow
interestedinponderingoversuchslang.But,theformalnounmeaningofcowonwhichIwouldlike
towritesomethingon.Itisdefinedasafullygrownfemaleanimalofadomesticatedbreedofox,
kepttoproducemilkorbeef!InancientIndia,cowwasamemberofeveryhousehold.And,was
givenduerespectsimilartoeveryothermemberofthefamily.Hence,peopleofancientIndiacould
notabletothinktokillandsellitsbeefinacasewhencowwasunabletoproducemilk.Cowwas
alsoconsideredasamatterofprestigefortheownersincemorethenumberofcowafamily
possessed,morereputedandmorewealthythefamilywasperceived.
