We reproducs ten entries, including the three prize-winning ones. ‘The most touching entry we received was from. young Anil Kumar, who was a brilliant cadet at the National Defence Academy but has been confined to a wheelchair after a tragic accident, soon after he was commissioned as an officer. Imagine this young boy's state of mind when he was paralysed neck, downwards. Today, he is residing at the Paraplegic Home in Khadki and is unable to use his limbs. But he has not given up. With a dogged determination he has learnt to use his mouth for writing. He has sent us his prize-winning entry by penning down his soul-stirring story ~ with his mouth. We couldn't believe it could be so beautifully written, when we received his entry — as you will see, it is so neatly written, We confirmed this with the Paraplegic Home and were stunned to know that Anil had actually written it himself.
