Findings/ Update: The siblings Angelou Ramos, 8 y/o and Angelica Ramos, 14 y/o were home visited last Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at their rented house located at # 34 Saint Cecille Street, Brgy. 179 Maricaban Pasay City. The two children were at home together with their father Jonathan Ramos and their two sibling. The two siblings Angelou and Angelica are both studying. Angelou is a Grade 3 pupil of Maricaban Elementary School while Angelica is a Grade 8 student of Pasay City East High School. According to their father Jonathan, They are supported financially by Jonathans mother Teresita. Aling Teresita just leave in the next house. She have a Sari-Sari Store. Since Jonathan doesnt have work, he help his mother in tending her store. The children including Angelou and Angelica, also help their grandmother. Aling Teresita told the undersigned that since the children are with her most of the time, thus she is able to look after them. She said that since her grandchildren are growing up , sometimes they become hard-headed. She takes part in giving guidance, discipline and will protect them against physical abuse and violence. On the other hand, Jonathan told the undersigned that he could not remember any incident of abuse. During the interview, he look pale and sickly. When being asked about his health, he said that he is well and in good health. As part of the case management Angelou and Angelica will be visited in school. They will also be home visited again in their home as part of monitoring. Jonathan will be encourage to attend Family Development Session to help enhance his parenting capabilities and capacities.
