The documentary profiles two children, Princess and Ashley, living in Camarines Norte who are suffering from malnutrition and an unhealthy environment. It shows the daily struggle of people in the area to earn money for food, with fishermen's wives gathering what food they can due to lack of income. Nine years ago, two other children from the region, Angela and Jeremy, suffered from the same malnutrition problems. The author felt sad witnessing the daily struggle for food faced by the children of Pugad Lawin and was inspired by Ashley's dream to continue her studies despite her circumstances.

The documentation of Anak ng Pugad Lawin in Camarines Norte revolves around the childrens lives which are in danger because of malnourishment and unhealthy environment. It shows the struggle of people for money and food, in which the fishermen wives are taking initiative to gather food because of lack in income. It was also shown in the documentary that 9 years ago, Butot Balat in which two children namely Angela and Jeremy were suffering for the same malnutrition problem. Now the documentary Anak Ng Pugad Lawin in which two yet again children were suffering the same fate as Angela and Jeremy, Princess and Ashley, a two year old and 6 year old kids, both are skinny and under-weight in features. I personally felt sad for these kids of Pugad Lawin, as I witnessed their struggle for everyday food. It also really hit me right in the heart when I saw Ashleys dream and how she pursues her studies. Shes an inspiring child for me. And thats my reaction paper.
