Pondo ng Pinoy (PnP), a renewal movement and a community foundation

started by His Eminence Archbishop Gaudencio Cardinal Rosales of Manila in 2004, is
now on its 4th year. Dubbed Halika Pondo ng Pinoy! Sali Kami, the 4th
Anniversary Celebration highlights the growth and development of PnP from a Manila
originated movement and foundation to one that now includes sixteen other Dioceses.
The celebration kicks off in Manila in June 14, to be followed successively by
celebrations in other Dioceses involved in the PnP. For our part, we have scheduled our
Diocesan Celebration: Saturday, July 26, 2008, 7:00 am to 1:00 pm at the
Santuario de San Vicente de Paul, Tandang Sora Avenue, Quezon City. We
wish to gather at least one thousand participants from our parishes, schools, and other
religious communities and institutions.
Prior to the July 26 Celebration, however, I wish to call for a summit meeting of
all parish priests and their respective Parish Pastoral Council (PPC) Coordinator to
discuss the importance and significance of the PnP for our Diocese and to ensure your
full support and cooperation for this parish-based and diocesan wide operation.
Already, I thank those of you who are actively supporting PnP. Still, I wish to involve
ALL of you so that we can all reap the full benefits, spiritually and materially, of the
PnP. I understand, however, that for this to happen, a more in-depth presentation and
discussion of what PnP stands for is in order. That is why I would like you and your PPC
Coordinator to be present in this important Summit Meeting: Wednesday, July 9,
2008, , 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Veloso Residence, #10 Opel St., Fairview
Park, Quezon City.
Thank you so much for your kind attention and I anticipate your active presence
and collaboration.
