The focussing is corried out by the movement of o focussing lever within the
limits of obout 1100 from 1 m in infinity (-), the two lenses being moved
simultoneously. ln order to enoble speedy focussing odjustment the focussing
lever is provided with cotches for neor medium ond infinite ("") distonce.
These cotches con be dispensed with ond the lever moves then continuously.
The comero is equipped with o depth-of-focus scole engroved on the focussing
lever proper. To focilitote the focussing o mognifier is used which con be

The locking of the rewind knob is outomoticolly releosed ofter the exposure
hos been mode by depressing the releose lever, ond the knob con ogoin
be rototed the stop. In this woy the comero is mode reody for o further
exposure ond the number of the next exposed frome is outomoticolly indicoted
by the counter. Since the shutter is cocked simultoneously with the rewinding
oi the film, the lotter procedure hos to be performed directly before toking
the shot.
lf using o 35 mm film or if moking pictures 4.5X6 cm in size on o roll film,
more thon 12 exposures ore obtoined. By inserting o guide for o 35 mm
film, or o 4.5X6 cm mosk into the comero, os soon os the eleventh exposurefrome hos been reoched, the moin exposure-counter (17) is outomoticolly
set to number ,,1", ond indicotes further exposuresby numbers 2, 3,4 to 11.
Hence, the moin counter indicotes individuol exposure units. Tens of exposures
ore recorded by on odditionol counter 18, which
os sooll os the moin
counter hos returned to number ,,1" - hos to be od justed by turning the
milled knob clockwise,
ln the window of the odditionel counter the number 1, 2,3 or 4 oppeors,
If, for instonce, the numbef ,,2" is shown in the window of the oddiiionol
counter, whilst the moin counter window reods ,,7", the 27th exposure is
being. mode. lf the milled knob 17 of the counter is, occidentolly, turned
round by more thon one number, it con be turned bock.
When phcitogrophing pictures 6X6 cm in size on o roll film, the odditionot

N o t e: when rewinding o 35 mm film from o cortridge it con hoppen

lf o film hos to be rewound reliobly, it is prohibitive to opply force since

o film, loosen the film in the cortridge by turning the reverse winding knob
(11) onticlockwise. These meosures hove to ben token especiolly when the
